Project details: This project is about creation of a PRUbase, which refers to the Prudential Life Insurance Solution comprised of the key components of Genesis Architecture, i.e. Life Asia integrated with Channel Management System(CMS), Image Management & Workflow (IM/WF) and PDS.  PRUbase will serve as the foundation of Prudential Core Life Insurance Application, which will be used as the base for individual country customization and subsequent roll out.
Implemented Workflow Management through a Business Process Management tool Dotsphere (Insuresphere) in Prudential Singapore Office.
Technology: LIFE Asia / Cobol / DB2 / AS400 – CMS Java / Oracle / AIX – Workflow MQ – IS / DB2 / AIX
Responsibilities:
• Worked as Frontliner in Singapore implementation in Integrated Workflow Management implementation
• Have done analysis on Requirement Management tools and have provided solutions on the architecture of Life Insurance Underwriting.
• Have done analysis on the various file transfer protocols and have provided solutions on the Batch File transfer methodology for LIFE/Asia and CMS
• Involved in identification of PRUBASE and country specific reports for the systems LIFE/Asia, CMS and PDS.
• Have coordinated and conducted Proof of Concept for LIFE/Asia -CMS -Workflow integration.
• Participated in the Regional Process Model meeting conducted based on inputs from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan Philippines and China and assisted by providing solutions to issues identified in the Requirements specfications and also in identification of gaps.
• Have done Review on the PDS Report & Workflow functional specifications and provided inputs from functional, quality and architectural point of views.
