New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company (NJM), USA – Claim Integration Project - in HCL (Jan 2006 – June 2006)
• NJM is in the process of installing Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC) with the objective to replace/retire the existing legacy applications supporting the current claims process.
• NJM has approximately 3500 COBOL / CICS programs that were written and modified many times in the 20+ years of their existence.
• Most of NJM's data resides on VSAM files with a few databases sprinkled throughout the environment. Guidewire is configuring the CC product based on business review sessions with the users and inputs from the NJM Legacy analysis team.
• Guidewire Claim Cneter (GW CC) is a developed product in J2EE technology with SQL Server Database.

• Requirement Analysis by studying the existing Mainframe system functionalities and discussing the business users of the client and onsite SME’s
• Business Cases and Business Scenarios Preparation
• Integration Test cases preparation
• Integration Testing
• Gap analysis between the ClaimCenter package and the current legacy claims system to clarify the scope of ClaimCenter (what is supported, not supported) with the business users
• Various processes and the integration approach to the mainframe from CC
• Detailed Analysis and Integration testing of the project
• Defect Report Generation
